Main Rooms
The Great Room
| Located in the center of the house, the great room is the focal point of the hacienda. A baby grand Yamaha piano plays on command, there is a large wood-burning fireplace and water plays over a custom sculpted copper fountain in the corner. A floor-to-ceiling glass wall looks out onto one of two outdoor patios available for guests' use. | Photo by Bill Powell |

The Dining Room
Photo by Bill PowellBreakfast is served in this lovely room of antiques with John Gould hummingbird prints, botanical prints from the Temple of Flora collection by Robert John Thornton and antique collectible menus. The Dining Room is available for luncheons, meetings and private dinner parties.
The Great Room, Dining Room and 2 outdoor patios are available for small receptions and gatherings. Inquire about our facility rental and catered functions.
Photo by Bill PowellWhile on the subject of dining, three neighborhood restaurants, Sammy’s Grill (nice neighborhood restaurant), George’s Southside (great American-style grill) and Riverbend Bistro (good Southern cuisine), are across the street. There are also several fine restaurants nearby. Notable are Juban's (my personal favorite), Mansur’s on the Boulevard (Fine Creole Cuisine), Maison Lacour (cozy with haute cuisine), Mike Anderson's (Louisiana seafood) and Gino's (terrific Italian).

The Side Patio
Entrance to this covered patio is off of the dining room. Tables and chairs are available so you may relax and enjoy the beautiful view looking out onto the bayou wilderness just behind the hacienda. From this vantage point, it is not uncommon to see squirrels and various birdlife during the day as well as raccoons and owls at night.
